Painful sexual intercourse

Painful sexual intercourse means that the couple does not feel happy but discomfort or even severe pain during sexual intercourse. The pain occurs in a small portion of the vulva or vagina and affects the abdomen, waist, and back.

Painful sexual intercourse not only affects the normal sexual life between the couples but also influences each other’s feelings. Sexual pain can even last for hours or days after sexual intercourse.

Painful sexual intercourse causes

For example, infections or inflammation of the female reproductive organs and urinary systems causes severe pain during sex. •Cancer of the reproductive organs such as cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, vulvar cancer, fallopian tube and primary peritoneal cancer causes painful sexual intercourse.

•Genital warts cause pain in the vulva or vaginal opening during sexual intercourse.

•Estrogen deficiency causes pain during sex due to the lack of vaginal lubrication.

•If you are having sex for the first time, it will cause pain due to tearing of hymen and expanding of the vaginal opening. The hymen is a thin and fleshy tissue located at the opening of the vagina.

•Men suffering from painful bladder syndrome often experience severe pain during ejaculation. Men experience such pain in the testicular or glans area of the penis.

•Symptoms of prostate cancer and infection in seminal vesicles
cause severe itching sensations after ejaculation.

•Peyronie’s disease also causes pain during intercourse. Additionally, causes a painful erection.

•During rough or deep intercourse or masturbation, small tears may occur in the frenulum of prepuce of a penis causing pain and anxiety during sex.

Diagnosis

There are several causes of painful sexual intercourse. Urinary tract infections and vaginal fistula are common causes of sexual pain. Diagnostic techniques and procedures depend on the medical history and symptoms.

Treatment

  • Reasonable sexual caress

Rough entry or deep intercourse causes severe pains. Having rough sex creates high levels of sexual excitement in women, but it can also cause sexual pain. The pleasure of sexual caress has no standard, and it is related to psychological factors, life experience, and education. It varies from person to person.

  • Perform vaginal muscle relaxation technique exercises

This treatment is effective for painful intercourse caused by a vaginal fistula. A vaginal fistula is an involuntary reflex spasm that occurs around the vagina and even includes the adductor muscles. It has three types: primary vaginal fistula, secondary vaginal fistula, and vaginal fistula.
